Abstract    In the treatment of gastric cancer, the occurrence of recurrence and metastasis affects the survival of the patients seriously. Due to the complex clinical manifestation and comparatively advanced stage, the radical surgery can hardly be taken. Thus, the conversion therapy aimed at downstaging becomes important particularly. The research progress on the issues of conversion therapy of recurrent and metastatic gastric cancer including choosing the appropriate cases for conversion therapy, treatment strategies, taking appropriate operative opportunity and the effectiveness of the current conversion therapies should be paid close attention by clinical doctors.

摘要：

在胃癌病人的治疗过程中，复发、转移的发生严重地影响着病人的生存。由于其临床表现复杂且病期较晚，常难以再次进行根治手术。因此，旨在使肿瘤降期以达到病灶可切除的转化治疗就显得尤为重要。如何筛选适宜行转化治疗的病例、具体的治疗策略、转化治疗中手术时机的选择及转化治疗效果的现状，是临床医生需要关注的问题。
