Abstract    Inguinal hernia is high incidence in elderly patients, which is caused by a combination of genetic and acquired factors. In elderly inguinal hernia patients, the duration of disease is often long, and incarcerated hernia is of high incidence and life-threatening as well. Most of them are combined with a variety of internal diseases, making the diagnosis and treatment of the disease becomes complicated and changeable. With the development of surgical procedures, anesthesia methods, and mesh materials, modern surgeons advocate that elderly inguinal hernia patients receive surgical treatment as soon as possible to cure the disease. According to the characteristics of each patient's condition, surgeons should formulate individualized solutions. It is advisable that specialized cases should be handled by professional surgeons.

摘要：

腹股沟疝在老年人中高发，原因由遗传和后天因素共同作用而成。老年腹股沟疝病程迁延、嵌顿疝发病率高，危及生命，又往往合并各种内科疾病，使得病情诊治变得复杂多变。随着外科手术、麻醉方式以及修补材料的发展，现代疝外科医生主张老年腹股沟疝应尽早接受手术治疗治愈疾病。根据每例病人的病情特点，制定疝个体化解决方案，疑难复杂的病例应由专业疝外科医师处理为宜。
