Abstract: In orthodontic clinic，the incidence of facial asymmetry is high，which is complicated and difficult to treat. The main clinical features are the irregular lateral relationship of the upper and lower mandible，the middle line of the upper and lower dentition being not aligned with the middle line of the face，and the mental point being biased to the side of the face. The facial asymmetry not only affects the appearance of the face and the chewing ability of the teeth，but also damages the movement function of the temporomandibular joint and the abnormal changes of the neck position. In this paper，the diagnosis，classification，clinical manifestations and prevention and treatment methods of facial asymmetry are systematically described in order to provide reference for clinical diagnosis and treatment.

摘要： 在正畸临床中偏颌畸形的发生率较高，是一种较为复杂且矫治难度大的错牙合畸形，其主要临床特征为上下颌骨侧方关系不调、上下颌牙列中线与面中线不齐、颏点较整个颜面部偏向一侧。偏颌畸形不仅会影响颜面部美观和咀嚼功能，还会导致颞下颌关节运动和下颌姿势位的非正常变化。文章就偏颌畸形的病因、分类、临床表现及防治策略等方面做一阐述，以期为临床诊疗提供参考。
