摘要： 观察性研究是一种在自然状态下不施加实验性干预，对研究对象进行观察和记录的研究方法，包括队列研究、病例对照研究和横断面研究等设计，在口腔医学中常被用于解决无法进行临床试验的研究问题。由多名口腔医学专家组成的国际团队发表了牙髓病学观察性研究推荐报告清单（Preferred Reporting Items for Observational Studies in Endodontics，PROBE）2023，包含11个主题、58个条目。该清单以牙髓病学为制定基础，设计条目兼顾口腔医学各专业，适用于口腔医学观察性研究设计。其在加强观察性流行病学研究报告清单（Strengthening the Reporting of Observational Studies in Epidemiology，STROBE）2007基础上进行了细化与拓展，贴合牙髓病学及口腔医学各专业特点，能够为口腔医学观察性研究提供针对性报告指导，并提升报告的规范性与透明度。文章将结合具体实例对清单的关键条目进行详细解读，以期提高国内口腔医学的观察性研究报告质量。

Abstract: Observational studies are research methods that involve observing and recording subjects under natural conditions without experimental intervention，including cohort studies，case-control studies，and cross-sectional studies. In dentistry，they are commonly used to address research questions that cannot be investigated through clinical trials. Recently，an international team of dental experts developed and published the Preferred Reporting Items for Observational Studies in Endodontics（PROBE）2023，which comprises 11 sections and 58 items. The checklist is developed based on endodontics，while its items are designed to accommodate various dental specialties，making it applicable to observational study designs in dentistry. Compared with Strengthening the Reporting of Observational Studies in Epidemiology（STROBE）2007，the PROBE 2023 provides more detailed and expanded reporting recommendations tailored to the characteristics of endodontics and dental specialties，offering targeted guidance for reporting observational studies in dentistry and improving their standardization and transparency. This article provides a detailed interpretation of the key items of the checklist with illustrative examples，aiming to improve the reporting quality of observational studies in dentistry in China.
