Abstract    With the population aging，the incidence of elderly acute abdomen has been increasing. Laparoscopic techniques can be used in the diagnosis and treatment of elderly acute abdomen safely. Laparoscopic exploration has the unique advantage in elderly patients with nontraumatic acute abdomen. The correct preoperative assessment of the function of important organs，timely treatment of complications，correct timing for operation are prerequisite for successful operation. The skilled laparoscopic techniques and experience of the surgeon are the keys to success. Surgeons also need to master the transit operation time，timely and decisive transit open abdomen in order to improve the success rate of emergency treatment.

摘要：

随着人口老龄化，老年急腹症的发病率日益增高。腹腔镜技术可安全地用于老年急腹症的诊断和治疗，对老年非创伤性急腹症病人具有独特优势。术前正确评估重要器官功能，及时处理合并症，正确掌握手术时机是手术成功的先决条件；术者具有娴熟的腹腔镜操作技术及经验是手术成功的关键；同时，须掌握手术指征，及时中转开腹，提高救治成功率。
