美国国家癌症研究所所属乳腺与肠道外科辅助治疗研究组（NSABP）以及美国国家癌症综合网络（NCCN）为如何降低中低位直肠癌局部复发率进行了前瞻性的研究，并提出了尽可能详尽的诊断和治疗流程。重视随访，预防为主，提倡精准诊断并优选诊断方法，是局部复发直肠癌得以采用多学科团队（MDT）合作模式并完善规范治疗的重要基础。

Abstract    Based on several prospective clinical trials on reducing local recurrence of middle and lower rectal cancer, the NSABP and NCCN proposed the guideline on diagnosis and treatment on locally recurrent rectal cancer (LRRC). Focusing on follow-up, giving priority to prevention, recommending precise and optimized diagnosis methods, and cooperating with the multidisciplinary team should contribute to the progress and standardization in the diagnosis and treatment for LRRC.
