儿茶素对口腔致病菌的抗菌机制及其临床应用研究进展

摘要: 儿茶素是茶多酚的主要活性成分,具备破坏细菌膜结构、抑制毒力因子表达、清除活性氧并调控炎症通路等效能,对变形链球菌、牙龈卟啉单胞菌等口腔致病菌有显著抗菌活性。儿茶素在口腔疾病的防治方面得到了广泛应用,涵盖龋病、牙髓病、根尖周疾病及牙周病等多个领域。然而,儿茶素存在稳定性差、生物利用率低等自限问题,目前可借助纳米递送系统或化学修饰来优化其性能。文章就儿茶素对口腔致病菌作用机制及其临床应用研究进展做一综述,为口腔疾病防治提供新思路。

Abstract: Catechins are the major active components of tea polyphenols. They exert multiple biological effects including disrupting bacterial membrane structures,inhibiting the expression of virulence factors,scavenging reactive oxygen species and regulating inflammatory pathways,and exhibit potent antibacterial activity against oral pathogens such as Streptococcus mutans and Porphyromonas gingivalis. Catechins have been widely applied in the prevention and treatment of oral diseases,including dental caries,pulp diseases,periapical diseases and periodontal diseases. Nevertheless,catechins are limited by poor stability and low bioavailability. At present,nano-delivery systems or chemical modification strategies can be adopted to improve their properties. This article reviews the research progress regarding the antibacterial mechanisms of catechins against oral pathogens and their clinical applications,aiming to provide new insights for the prevention and treatment of oral diseases.
