Born on October 10, 1949
Graduated from Tongji Medical University in 1988 with a Doctorate (Ph.D.) degree.
Currently serves as Secretary of the Party Committee of Harbin Medical University, Director of the Department of General Surgery at the First Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University, Professor, and Chief Physician. Doctoral Supervisor.
Main specialty and research areas: Liver and Spleen Surgery, Abdominal Trauma, Minimally Invasive Surgery.
Has led or undertaken over ten major research projects, including the National "Eleventh Five-Year Plan" Science and Technology Support Program, grants from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, CMB (China Medical Board) projects, the National Education Commission Overseas Returnee Startup Fund, the Heilongjiang Province "Eighth Five-Year Plan" Key Project, the Heilongjiang Outstanding Youth Science Fund, key projects from the Heilongjiang Provincial Department of Science and Technology, and the "211 Project" fund.
Awards received: Over ten major provincial and ministerial-level awards including the National Science and Technology Progress Second Prize, the Ministry of Education Science and Technology Progress Second Prize, the Ministry of Health Science and Technology Progress Second Prize, and the Heilongjiang Province Science and Technology Progress First Prize.
