Academician LI Jie-shou
Born on October 11, 1924

Academician Li Jie-shou graduated from the former National Zhongzheng Medical College in 1949, earning a Bachelor's degree.

He currently serves as the Vice President of Nanjing General Hospital of the Nanjing Military Command, Director of the Institute of General Surgery of the People's Liberation Army, Director of the National Key Discipline, and Doctoral Supervisor.

His primary specialties and research focuses include the treatment and study of intestinal dysfunction, clinical nutritional support, and the treatment of critically ill patients.

Major grants and research projects he has led include:
*   Influence of Lipid Molecular Metabolism on Chronic Graft Dysfunction (National Basic Research Program of China [973 Program], 3.61 million RMB)
