LI Ning
Born on April 10, 1952
Graduated from the PLA Postgraduate Medical School in 1986 with a Master's degree.
Currently serves as Deputy Director and Director of the Institute of General Surgery at Nanjing General Hospital of the Nanjing Military Command, and Chief Physician. Doctoral Supervisor, Postdoctoral Co-supervisor.
Specialty and main research areas: Clinical treatment and experimental research of gastrointestinal surgical diseases, having achieved breakthrough progress particularly in the fields of "treatment of intestinal dysfunction," "clinical nutritional support," and "allogeneic small intestine transplantation and combined liver-intestine transplantation." In recent years, has also been dedicated to the research and clinical treatment of complex and difficult intestinal diseases such as radiation enteritis, inflammatory bowel disease, postoperative inflammatory intestinal obstruction, and chronic refractory constipation.
