Abstract    Lateral neck compartment lymph node dissection is the main surgical protocol for thyroid cancer. Postoperative recurrence was mainly caused by the “non-standard” dissection. The key skills of lateral neck dissection combining with the knowledge of lateral neck compartment’s anatomy are the most important issues which mean how to deal with the carotid sheath, lateral accessory nerve and transverse cervical vessel, which are the easiest omissive sites.

摘要：

颈侧区淋巴结清扫是治疗甲状腺癌的重要手段，不规范的颈侧区淋巴结清扫是造成甲状腺癌术后淋巴结复发转移的重要原因。对其局部解剖的深入认识及掌握操作技巧是成功实施颈侧区淋巴结清扫的关键，应注意处理好内侧的颈鞘、外侧的副神经及下面的颈横血管及几个重要的容易被遗漏的区域。
