Abstract Pancreatic cystic neoplasms, including varies diagnosis with different prognosis. Correct diagnosis is the precondition of rational treatment for these diseases. In the era of minimally invasive surgery, treatment modalities have changed a lot. And in treating pancreatic cystic neoplasms, we should optimize our surgical strategy and methods mainly based on the disease oncologic properties. With requirements on oncological treatment and patient safty fulfilled, we should focus on preserving organ functions with minimally invasive surgery and miniaturizing surgical trauma.
