Abstract Surgical complications are the important indicators to evaluate the safety and feasibility of laparoscopic gastric cancer surgery. Laparoscopic gastric cancer surgery is difficult. The common complications include abdominal bleeding, duodenal stump leakage, anastomotic bleeding, anastomotic leakage, anastomotic stenosis, etc. Complications will extend hospital stay, increase medical costs and even produce medical dispute, which must be enough emphasized. Throughout the learning curve, laparoscopic gastric cancer surgery is safe, doesn’t increase the incidence of complications.
