Abstract    More and more researches and evidences found that gastrointestinal surgery can relieve many metabolic diseases associated with obesity, such as T2DM, hypertension and hyperlipidemia. Currently, five operation types have been accepted, which are Roux-en-Y gastric bypass（RYGBP）, mini gastric bypass（MGB），biliopancreatic diversion（BPD）or biliopancreatic diversion with duodenal switch（BPD-DS）, sleeve gastrectomy（SG） and adjustable gastric banding（AGB）. Most of the operations could be done with laparoscopy
