Abstract    Thyroid postoperative bleeding is the most serious complications of thyroid surgery. If it was disposed of improperly, it can be life threatening. Thyroid postoperative bleeding is related to errhysis, vascular bleeding and clotting dysfunction and other factors. In addition to the clear for subcutaneous bleeding, other causes of bleeding are recommended to take active measures to surgery to stop bleeding again. Prevention is the key to prevent thyroid postoperative bleeding. After surgery, patients should avoid a sudden violent coughing, sneezing or vomiting, avoid strenuous activities for the spurts and neck. It is very important to avoid the surgery of the female menstrual and disable the anticoagulant drug for less than one week. At the same time,  intraoperative exact tight hemostasis must be implemented.If not, sufficient negative pressure drainage should be placed.
