Abstract    Thyroidectomy is frequently performed in most of hospitals and the postoperative complications are quite common too. Moreover they are sometimes critical and in serious condition, with regards to the some articles of national medical documents, such as The Tort Law of the People’s Republic of China, Order from the Ministry of Health of the People’s Republic of China NO. 32. Some of them may lead to medical dispute and lawsuit. Undoubtedly it is vitally important for patient and surgeon to prevent postoperative complications of thyroidectomy.
