Gastric cancer stage is an important platform and infrastructure of international standardization treatment. Stage of gastric cancer have evolved in long-term clinical practice, formed on the basis of scientific research, especially relative translation medicine of basic and clinical medical research through its formation and development of each important period. The establishment evaluation system of gastric cancer prognostic factors T, N , lymph node metastatic degree. 5th TNM which based by the number of metastatic lymph node evaluation system, and based on all of them produced 7th TNM stage system, which all show the concept and value of translation medicine.
