Abstract    Pain is dominant symptom of the patients with chronic pancreatitis. The repetitive onset of the inflexible pain causes great depression in the patients with chronic pancreatitis whose quality of life sacrifices a great deal. In addition, as the limited research on the etiology of chronic pancreatitis, the treatment standard varied. With the deep study of advanced molecular biological techniques and pancreatic surgery in the twenty-first century, lots of clinicians have become awared of the mechanisms of pancreatic pain. Multi-therapies such as drugs, endotherapy, surgery have been the promising choices for clinicians when confronted with the ventral pain in chronic pancreatitis.
