Abstract    Evidence based medicine has emerged as a new mode of clinical medicine, and changed the concepts and practice of doctors. Though some high-level clinical trials have been carried out, and their results made great progress in the field of treatment of gastric cancer, the protocols of the trials have some limitation and the results are not identical. During the treatment for patients with gastric cancer, doctors should properly apply the evidences and consider the conditions of such patients, then make individualized treatment regimen.
