Abstract Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE) together are known as venous thromboembolism. DVT are mostly occurred in the lower limb which detached thrombus off usually due to PE. The two diseases were independent but is closely related to each other. Severe cases can significantly affect the quality of life or lead to death. However, for domestic clinical diagnosis and treatment of VTE is still no unified path. It still in the explored period.
