Abstract Compared to radical surgery as the premise treatment of differentiated thyroid cancer, the standardized management with postoperative treatment and follow up are also the keys to ensure the long-term survival, good prognosis, avoidance of recurrence and tumor-free status. The thyroid stimulating hormone inhibition therapy, radioactive iodine ablation and re-operation are important supplements to the initial surgery. And the followed up which includes ultrasound, whole body scan, thyroid function monitoring, thyroglobulin monitoring and so on, is also the important guarantee of standardized treatment.
