Abstract    Precision liver resection era is coming in 21st century promoted by comprehensive application and integrated innovation of modern science and technology. Precision liver resection is characterized by technologies of digital medicine and minimally invasive surgery, and also reflects concepts of personalized medicine, evidence based medicine and humanistic medicine. The symbol of changing from traditional extensive pattern to modern precise pattern is thought to be precision liver resection, which has more development space in the future.
