Abstract Great advances have been achieved in the field of tumor targeted therapies in the last few years. Hypertension is a vascular endothelial growth factor inhibitor common side effects, and trastuzumab major adverse cardiac toxicity. Other adverse reactions are bleeding, delayed wound healing, gastrointestinal perforation, skin adverse reactions, hand-foot syndrome and mucositis, diarrhea, proteinuria. Thrombosis and reversible posterior leukoencephalopathy syndrome are rare but very serious. Early and rapid diagnosis, timely withdrawal are the keys to determine patient prognosis.
