Abstract    Junction of bile duct, pancreas and duodenum is one of the regions with most complicatied anatomy and regulatory network, which also be related to many diseases including pancreaticobiliary maljunction, sphincter of Oddi dysfunction, neoplasms and so on.The diagnosis and treament of those diseases remain many puzzles due to insufficient appreciation in those pathogenesis and the physiological regulation mechanism of sphincter of Oddi. With the advances of kinetics study and surgical conception of sphincter of Oddi, the research about the junction of bile duct, pancreas and duodenum has become a hotspot in the general surgery fields nowadays.
