Principles of perioperative management in patients with coagulopathy ZHU Wei-ming. Research Institute of General Surgery,Clinical School of Medicine, Nanjing University, Nanjing General Hospital of Nanjing Military Command of PLA,Nanjing 210002,China
Abstract Perioperative management is essential for operative success. Early detection is very important for the correction of coagulopathy, which should be managed by careful screening of high risk patients, correct diagnosis and comprehensive preoperative preparation. Damage control should be followed throughout the treatment course. Hypercoagulation and bleeding diathesis should be dealt with equal importance. Anticoagulation should not be used routinely.
