For the patients to be treated by the minimally invasive technique, the preoperatively accuate assessment and comprecensive planning are very important. No matter what procedure would be used, it must obey the following principles: eliminating lesions, relieving obstruction, clearing stones and expediting drainage. Every surgeon should master the all these techniques, in order to plan an effective, minimally invasive and individualized treatment, meanwhile to try to avoid iatrogenic bile duct injure.
