Methods The definition,classification,epidemiology,diagnose and treatment were discussed in 13 cases of primary neuroendocrine carcinoma of breast treated in surgery department of Shanghai the eighth people’s hospital from 1980 to now with reviewing lectures.Results In the 13 cases,4 cases was solid neuroendocrine carcinoma,5 cases was small cell neuroendocrine carcinoma,4 cases was large cell neuroendocrine carcino-ma.All of the cases’ axillary limph node is negative.Total diseases free survival rate was 76.9%（10/13）,overal survival rage was 84.6%（11/13）.Conclusion To diagnose primary neur-oendocrine carcinoma of breast by imaging is difficult.The golden standard of diagnosis is biospy.It is acceptable to treat the patients with the guideline of invasive ductal carcinoma in breast..
