Department of Hepatopancreato Biliary Surgery, the First Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University, Harbin 150001, China Abstract With the characteristics of complicated etiologic factors, rapid processes, multiple complications and high mortality, fulminant acute pancreatitis (FAP) has been treated by all kinds of clinical management, but integrated therapeutic strategies aren’t founded. This article focused on some understanding of treatment of FAP combining authors’ experience and recent references, including as followed, emphasizing elementary treatment of FAP, grasping and choosing reasonable surgical timing, indications and procedures, meanwhile, paying attention to every detail during the process of treatment.
