Abstract    Pancreatic Cancer (PC) is one of the most lethal malignancies featuring poor prognosis and atypical early clinical symptoms. Patients usually lose the opportunity for surgical resection when diagnosed. Therefore, accurate early screening methods for pancreatic cancer are in urgently needed. Studies in tumor markers have progressed rapidly in recent years, and a large number of pancreatic cancer tumor markers, which can be categorized as glycolipids, proteins, adhesion molecules, non-coding RNAs and microorganisms, etc., have been identified. At the same time, the number of research studies on the joint detection of multiple tumor markers has gradually increased, significantly improving diagnostic sensitivity and specificity. The advancement in technology has allowed neo-diagnostic methods, such as liquid biopsy and optical molecular imaging, to broaden the application of tumor markers further and bring new chances for precision medicine.
