Abstract Laparoscopic colorectal cancer surgery has been introduced in China for 30 years. At present, it is in a platform period with a high level. However, laparoscopic colorectal cancer surgery is still facing the problems of how to promote high-quality popularization and reduce complications. In addition, for surgical oncology, tumor-free techniques, functional preserving techniques, and long-term survival benefits are still the focus of quality control. At present, key points of quality control in the process of laparoscopic colorectal cancer surgery are surgical indications, key technologies, standardized promotion, systematic training and qualification admission.
