Abstract    With the periodic success for corona virus diseases 2019 (COVID-19) epidemic prevention and control, many medical institutions will gradually restore the routine medical order. With the deepening understanding of COVID-19, some new clinical features of the disease have been gradually discovered, such as the incubation period of more than 14 days, no any respiratory symptoms but 2019-nCoV RNA positive test, the possibility transmission still not be ignored. In the case of asymptomatic RNA positive patients with COVID-19, the surgeon has insufficient knowledge, inadequate protection and increased risk of occupational exposure. Therefore, for surgeons, while gradually carrying out the diagnosis and treatment of surgical diseases, should have a sufficient understanding of the characteristics and changes of the current incidence of novel coronary pneumonia, and pay attention to the ideological, action to strengthen prevention. Once in contact with a patient with asymptomatic RNA positive new coronary pneumonia, the surgeon should be familiar with the emergency management practices including reporting process and emergency rescue measures to minimize the risk of clustering transmission with asymptomatic RNA positive COVID-19.
