甲状腺功能亢进（甲亢）病因复杂、临床表现多样性，同时可有多种治疗选择。 美国甲状腺协会和临床内分泌协会于2011年发表新版《甲亢及其他原因所致甲状腺毒症的临床治疗指南》。指南共提出100条建议，涵盖Graves病、毒性结节性甲状腺肿和毒性甲状腺腺瘤等疾病的病因学诊断和对症处理、131I、抗甲状腺药物和外科手术等治疗手段。

Abstract    Hyperthyroidism has multiple etiologies, manifestations and potential therapies. The American Thyroid Association (ATA) and American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE) published “Hyperthyroidism and other causes of thyrotoxicosis: management guidelines of the American Thyroid Association and American Clinical Endocrinologists” in 2011. The new guideline offers 100 proposals on the initial evaluation and management of Graves disease, toxic multi-nodular goiter and toxic adenoma including radioactive iodine, anti-thyroid drugs and surgery therapy.
