Abstract    The concept of damage control surgery has been proposed for ten years and has been extensively used in gastrointestinal surgery, hepatic surgery, urological surgery and cardiac surgery, not only in severe trauma. It is mith important reference significance in the prevention and treatments of complications after gastrointestinal surgery using damage control surgery concept.
