Abstract: Retreatment following aesthetic restoration of anterior teeth presents significant clinical challenges. Such cases often require multidisciplinary collaboration. Previous treatment designs may have been suboptimal and patients’ usage was improper，leading to significant difficulty in retreatment and complex communication as well as challenging clinical management. This paper comprehensively presents the retreatment process of a patient experiencing persistent gingival redness and swelling alongside interproximal gaps following aesthetic restoration，including analysis of clinical presentation and aesthetic deficiencies，multidisciplinary treatment planning，implementation of the treatment protocol，and long-term follow-up outcomes. Detailed insights into the diagnostic reasoning and therapeutic specifics are provided to offer guidance for strategic planning，treatment design，doctor-patient communication，and precise intervention in similar clinical cases.
