Abstract: Regenerative endodontic procedures（REPs）aim to reconstruct the pulp-dentin complex and promote root development in immature permanent teeth through tissue engineering strategies. The scaffold material，as a key element in the treatment process，has always been a research hotspot in this field. In recent years，hydrogels have emerged as promising novel scaffold materials for REPs due to their high biocompatibility，tunable physicochemical properties，and environmental responsiveness. In this article，we will summarize the research advances in the application of novel hydrogels in regenerative endodontic procedures.
