Abstract:

Mouth breathing in children is generally caused by habits or airway obstruction. The abnormal breathing pattern leads to the adaptive reconstruction of the perioral muscles and jaws，which leads to malocclusion and affects the growth of the maxillofacial region. This article discusses the cause，damage，diagnosis and treatment of Angle class Ⅱ malocclusion caused by mouth breathing in children.

摘要：

儿童口呼吸常由口腔不良习惯、气道阻塞等因素导致，异常的呼吸模式使口周肌群及颌骨发生适应性改建，形成错牙合畸形，影响儿童颌面部生长发育。文章就儿童口呼吸相关安氏Ⅱ类错牙合畸形的病因、危害、诊断、矫治等方面做一综述。
