Abstract: As one of the most common birth defects，cleft lip and palate mainly presents with congenital oral and maxillofacial malformations. Midfacial maxillary retrusion deformity can appear in the early stage of adolescence. But patients could not undergo traditional orthognathic surgeries until adulthood because of their trauma. As a result，the long waiting-time can impact young patients negatively on their daily life and mental health. The research on relieving maxillary retrusion deformity in young children becomes popular recently. This article reviews the progress in orthodontic and orthognathic treatment for secondary maxillary retrusion deformity of young patients with cleft lip and palate.

摘要： 唇腭裂是常见的先天发育缺陷性疾病，主要表现为口腔颌面部软硬组织先天畸形，在青春发育早期表现为特有的面中部上颌后缩畸形。由于唇腭裂患儿成年后才可进行正颌外科手术，这将对患儿生活、心理造成长期影响，因此低龄化的上颌后缩畸形治疗是近年来学者们研究热点之一。文章就青少年唇腭裂上颌后缩畸形治疗方法研究进展做一综述。
