Abstract    Blood transfusion, especially massive blood transfusion, can cause serious complications to patients. If handled improperly, massive blood transfusion with dysfunction of blood coagulation often lead to serious adverse consequences. Massive blood transfusion with dysfunction of blood coagulation is often a result of a variety of factors. It should be early diagnosed by comprehensive assessment. Through individualized and comprehensive measures, including infusion of various types of blood clotting substances, and appropriate surgical treatment, massive blood transfusion with dysfunction of blood coagulation can be cured for good in perioperative period.
