Abstract    Currently, neoadjuvant therapy for gallbladder cancer is still in an early stage compared with its achievement in other types of tumors. It is still a controversial in terms of the definition of borderline resectable or locally advanced gallbladder cancer, the selection of the best recommended protocol for neoadjuvant therapy, and the choice of timing for surgery after neoadjuvant therapy. A multidisciplinary team approach should be recommended to establish individualized and precise neoadjuvant therapy modality to dynamically and comprehensively evaluate the efficacy of neoadjuvant therapy at an early stage, optimize treatment strategies, and improve the therapeutic effect of gallbladder cancer patients.
