Abstract: Abstract：Objective To observe the effect of the computer-controlled local anesthetic delivery system STA（Single Tooth Anesthesia）in the treatment of dental anxiety. Methods Totally 100 patients with pulpitis and dental anxiety were randomly divided into experiment group and control group. STA system was performed in the experiment group（n=44） and traditional injection technique was conducted in the control（n=56）. The reaction time and expiration time were recorded. Then the patients were asked to evaluate the pain. The efficiency rate was recorded. Results The reaction time and expiration time in experiment group were shorter（P < 0.05）. During the anesthesia process，the pain in experiment group was less than those in the control（P < 0.05）.The anesthesia efficiency of experiment group was significantly higher. Conclusion STA system can effectively degrade the level of the fear.

摘要： 目的 观察STA麻醉仪对牙科畏惧症患者的临床治疗作用。方法 回顾2011年1—12月中国医科大学口腔医学院综合急诊科门诊收治的牙科畏惧症患者100例，应用STA麻醉仪治疗患者（试验组）44例，手推注射麻醉患者（对照组）56例。记录麻药起效、失效时间，患者自行评估疼痛程度，同时计算麻醉有效率，对两组结果进行数据分析比较。结果 试验组的麻药生效及失效时间均小于对照组（P < 0.05）；试验组疼痛明显轻于对照组（P < 0.05）；试验组的麻醉有效率明显高于对照组（P < 0.05）。结论 STA麻醉仪能有效地降低牙科畏惧症患者治疗中的恐惧程度，值得推广使用。
