Abstract: Peri-implantitis is one of the primary causes of implant failure，and non-surgical treatment plays a crucial role in the early intervention and control of the disease. The S3-level clinical practice guideline issued by the European Federation of Periodontology provides clear evidence-based recommendations and standardized protocols for the non-surgical treatment of peri-implantitis. This article systematically interprets the core content of the guideline，focusing on treatment objectives，mechanical debridement，biofilm management，risk factor control，and evaluation criteria for treatment outcome. It emphasizes the evidence-based support of various treatment measures and their clinical application values. By thoroughly analyzing the guideline，this article aims to assist implantologists in comprehensively understanding the key aspects of implementing non-surgical treatment and to improve their operational standardization and the therapeutic outcomes in clinical practice.
