木糖醇口香糖防龋效果临床研究

摘要:

目的    研究孕期及产后妇女饭后咀嚼木糖醇口香糖的防龋效果。方法    随机选取2007年5月在石家庄市第一医院体检的孕期或产后妇女[龋、失、补牙面数(DMFS)≥8]96名。经龋齿基线检查后,随机分为木糖醇组、氟化泡沫组、对照组3组。2年后复查龋患情况。结果    木糖醇组、氟化泡沫组、对照组3组新增龋面均分别为1.28、1.32、2.35,木糖醇组、氟化泡沫组与对照组比较,新增龋面均差异具有统计学意义(P < 0.01)。木糖醇组、氟化泡沫组与对照组比较,新增龋面均降低率分别为43.11%、41.33%。结论    在良好的口腔保健条件下,木糖醇口香糖与氟化泡沫有同等的防龋效果。

Abstract:

Objective    To assess the preventive effects of Xylitol on dental caries in pregnant and new mothers who chew Xylitol gum. Methods    A total of 96 pregnant and new mothers(DMFT≥8) who aged 25~35 were checked in my hospitol. They were divided into three groups. Group A:Xylitol;Group B:fluoride foam;Group C:the negnative control group.Oral biologic examinations were perfomed at line and after two years. Results    New caries of A,B and C were 1.28,1.32 and 2.35. There was no difference in new caries between group A and group B(P ≥ 0.05). Group A and B,compared to group C,the new caries were significantly different(P < 0.01). The decrease rate of new caires  was 43.11% and 41.33 in group A and B,compared with group C. Conclusion    Both Xylitol and fluoride foam can prevent caries. Xylitol has the same preventive effect as fluoride foam.
