Abstract: Exosomes are a kind of membranous vesicles secreted by living cells in vivo, and their good biocompatibility, stability and low immunogenicity make them popular in the field of tissue regeneration. During dental pulp regeneration, exosomes can induce dental pulp regeneration by promoting stem cell migration and differentiation. However,it is difficult to maintain the effective concentration of dental pulp tissue regeneration for a long time. Biological scaffolds can effectively encapsulate exosomes, protect their viability and reduce their loss, and slowly release exosomes through the degradation of the scaffold itself, ensuring that exosomes are in constant contact with stem cells and inducing dental pulp regeneration. This article reviews the research progress in application of biological scaffold-encapsulated stem cells-derived exosomes in dental pulp regeneration.
