Although endometrial polyp is the most common intrauterine lesion and has been proved to be related to infertility, there is still a lack of unified diagnostic criteria, classification and description system.Perhaps it is not always a simple disease, but the local phenotype of other uterine diseases. In fact, there is a lack of high-quality evidence on whether polyp removal is necessary in infertile patients, but a large number of retrospective studies have shown that polyp removal can improve the rate of natural pregnancy and assisted reproductive success.Surgery itself is not complicated and is becoming more and more convenient, but caution and calmness about the necessity of surgery should not be ignored. In the future,we need to conduct further studies on the expression of receptivity -related molecules in the window of implantation(WOI),so as to deepen the understanding of the association between endometrial polyps and fertility.
