Diagnosis and differential diagnosis of endometrial polyps.
    CHEN Xiao-jun
    2022, 38(3): 259-263.  DOI: 10.19538/j.fk2022030102
    Abstract ( )
Endometrial polyps can be found in both premenopausal and postmenopausal women.Abnormal uterine bleeding and intrauterine mass are the most common clinical features of endometrial polyps.Transvaginal ultrasonography is the first-line choice for image evaluation of endometrial polyps. For women highly suspected with endometrial polyps after clinical, physical and image evaluation, endometiral lesion dissection under hysteroscope followed by pathological examination is the gold standard for diagnosis of endometrial polyps. All conditions causing abnormal uterine bleeding or intrauterine mass should be differentiated from endometrial polyps.

    2022, 38(3): 266-269.  DOI: 10.19538/j.fk2022030104
    Abstract ( )
Endometrial polyp is a common gynecological disease.Hysteroscopic polypectomy is the first choice, but the importance of medical treatment can not be ignored.Commonly used drugs include progesterone, combined oral contraceptives, gonadotropin releasing hormone agonist, and hemostatic drugs,etc.Levonorgestrel-releasing intrauterine system plays a critical role in the drug treatment of endometrial polyps. This paper reviews the clinical application and researches of these various drugs.

    FENG Li-min
    2022, 38(3): 269-272.  DOI: 10.19538/j.fk2022030105
    Abstract ( )
Hysteroscopic surgery is the "gold standard" for the diagnosis and treatment of endometrial polyps.Recently, technique advances have improved the efficiency of the surgery and the experience of the patients, made the "see and treat" in the clinic a trend. When performing hysteroscopic endometrial polypectomy in the clinic, appropriate techniques should be chosen accordingly to achieve the best results. This article introduced the indications of endometrial polyp surgery, described the commonly used hysteroscopic techniques, and discussed the precautions for hysteroscopic endometrial polypectomy at an outpatient setting.
    Endometrial polyps and fertility.
    DENG Shan, TIAN Qin-jie
    2022, 38(3): 273-276.  DOI: 10.19538/j.fk2022030106
    Abstract ( )
Although endometrial polyp is the most common intrauterine lesion and has been proved to be related to infertility, there is still a lack of unified diagnostic criteria, classification and description system.Perhaps it is not always a simple disease, but the local phenotype of other uterine diseases. In fact, there is a lack of high-quality evidence on whether polyp removal is necessary in infertile patients, but a large number of retrospective studies have shown that polyp removal can improve the rate of natural pregnancy and assisted reproductive success.Surgery itself is not complicated and is becoming more and more convenient, but caution and calmness about the necessity of surgery should not be ignored. In the future,we need to conduct further studies on the expression of receptivity -related molecules in the window of implantation(WOI),so as to deepen the understanding of the association between endometrial polyps and fertility.

    Abstract ( )
Endometrial polyps(EP)are a common gynecologic disease, with the most common symptom  of abnormal uterine bleeding.EP-associated infertility/sub-fertility and recurrence of disease have also been widely concerned. The present article attempts to discuss the diagnosis and treatment of EP and make evidence-based recommendations by reviewing relevant publications.
    Malignant endometrial polyps.
    LI Lei
    2022, 38(3): 280-283.  DOI: 10.19538/j.fk2022030108
    Abstract ( )
Less than 3% endometrial polyps belong to malignant polyps.Malignant endometrial polyps have similar pathological subtypes, risk factors, diagnostic and treatment protocols with endometrial carcinomas. However, due the local natures of polyps, hysteroscopy should be adopted as the primary choice for achieve pathological diagnosis rather than D&C or minimally samplings.Fertility-sparing treatment should be prudently recommended to patients with sufficient consenting.
