Guidelines of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine for the diagnosis and treatment of short stature in children

摘要： 身材矮小是儿科常见就诊原因之一，其病因复杂，临床表现多样，严重影响儿童的生活质量甚至身心发展。该指南推荐中医辨证施治与西医诊疗相协同，并参照国内外中西医最新指南、共识和研究进展，反复修订完成，以期为儿童身材矮小的中西医协同诊疗提供合理化建议和参考，并推动儿童身材矮小中西医结合研究的发展。

Abstract: Short stature is a common reason for pediatric consultations. With complex etiology and diverse clinical manifestations，it significantly impacts children’s quality of life and even their physical and mental development. This guideline recommends the integration of traditional Chinese medicine（TCM）syndrome differentiation and treatment with Western medical therapy. It has been finalized through repeated revisions with reference to the latest domestic and international guidelines，consensus documents，and research advances in both TCM and Western medicine. The aim is to provide rational recommendations and references for the integrated diagnosis and treatment of short stature in children and to advance the development of researches on short stature in children in integrated Chinese and Western medicine.
