Abstract: The contents of traditional periodontology course for undergraduate students of stomatology were lectured by five teaching and research departments,which had some problems,such as repeated content,long teaching time span,lack of correlation between disciplines,and so on. Following the "disease-centered" teaching concept,the teaching reform and exploration of periodontology course integration has been carried out in School of Stomatology,Peking University since 2018. After full discussion,demonstration and preparation,a new course design has been constructed. The integrated periodontology course is divided into 5 sections,16 units,a total of 33 class hours. It is taught by the teachers of Departments of Periodontology,Oral Histopathology and Preventive Dentistry. The teaching units are optimized,the teaching order is adjusted and the internal logical structure of the integrated course is more reasonable. In addition,some new contents reflecting the new development of periodontology,such as pathogenesis of periodontal disease and peri-implant tissue and diseases,have been added without increasing class hours. The teaching practice has been carried out smoothly for two years. The evaluation results of teaching effect show that the teaching effect of integrated course of periodontology is satisfying and the teaching quality is improved.

摘要: 传统口腔医学本科生牙周病学理论课所包含内容分别由5个教研室讲授,存在部分内容重复、授课时间跨度大、学科之间缺乏关联等问题,教学效果有待改进。北京大学口腔医学院遵循“以疾病为中心”的教学理念,自2018年起开始进行牙周病学课程整合的教学改革和探索,经过充分研讨、论证和准备,进行了全新的课程设计。整合后的牙周病学理论课划分为5个版块16个单元,共33学时,由牙周病学、口腔组织病理学和口腔预防医学3个教研室的教师共同讲授。优化教学单元,调整授课顺序,整合后的课程内在逻辑结构更加合理。并在不增加学时的前提下,注入牙周病的发病机制、种植体周围组织及疾病等反映学科发展的新内容。两年的牙周病学课程整合教学实践实施顺利,教学效果评价表明教学效果良好、教学质量提升。
