Abstract: Short stature and insufficient height growth are increasingly concerned by society，parents，and pediatricians. While the demands for increasing height are ever increasing，the biggest challenge is to correctly distinguish between normal variations and abnormal forms of children’s growth through the selection of appropriate methods so as to be clear about the cause of short stature and choose the correct intervention measures. This article reviews the short stature during childhood from an endocrinological aspect.

摘要： 身材矮小以及身高生长不足问题越来越被社会、家长及广大儿科医师关注，改善身高的需求也越来越多，其最大的挑战是如何正确选择适宜的方法以鉴别正常变异与异常生长，明确矮小原因选择正确的干预手段。该文从内分泌激素角度对身材矮小问题进行了介绍。
