Application of holistic integrative medicine in treatment of severe pneumonia in children

摘要： 重症肺炎的治疗是需要整合医学理念和辩证思维分析的综合治疗。首先需要对呼吸、循环、脑功能、内环境进行综合评估，明确患者的危重程度，并进行相应的处理。需要利用临床、实验室指标等综合判断病原，进行更有针对性的抗感染治疗。治疗过程中要重点关注通气和缺氧的改善、水电平衡的维持、治疗后的再评估和中医药的合理应用。

Abstract: The comprehensive treatment is applicated for severe pneumonia in children，and the treatment of severe pneumonia in children needs the concept of holistic integrative medicine and dialectical thinking.To assess the severity of pneumonia，the respiration，circulation，brain function and homeostasis should be evaluated firstly.Based the clinical features and laboratory indicators for predicting the pathogens，which may mean more targeted treatments.Attention should be paid to the improvement of ventilation and hypoxia，the maintenance of water-electrolyte balance，the reassessment after treatment and the rational application of traditional Chinese medicine.
