Abstract    It is important for the current surgical treatment of gallbladder cancer to choose the appropriate surgical methods to make the patients get a good prognosis.  The specific operation method should be determined according to the staging of gallbladder cancer. At present, the academic circles at home and abroad generally believe that TNM clinical staging has important guiding significance for the choice of surgical treatment of gallbladder cancer. For patients with stage Tis and T1a gallbladder cancer, simple cholecystectomy can achieve the goal of cure. For patients with stage T1b、T2、T3、T4N0～1M0 gallbladder cancer, radical resection or extended radical resection can be adopted according to the results of  intraoperative evaluation, so as to achieve R0 resection. For M1 patients can not achieve radical resection, palliative surgery can be used to improve the quality of life of patients.
