Abstract:

Interpretation of the guidelines for the prevention and treatment of surgical infection        JIAN Zhi-xiang. Department of General Surgery，Guangdong General Hospital，Guangzhou 510080，China
Abstract    Prevention and treatment of surgical infection has been the point of clinical surgery，the key to improving the surgical treatment of patients. Although several guidelines concerning on surgical infection，especially surgical site infection，have been raised to prevent the infection. However，according to current data，surgical infection rate did not change significantly. At present，guidelines have focused on various aspects of prevention of surgical infection，such as blood sugar，temperature during operation，skin preparation，cut protectors，sterile irrigation，antimicrobial sutures，prophylactic antibiotic usage and et al. However，details varied and there were some updates recommendations based on evidence-based medicine.
